About
Each one heard, in their own language.
Voclyn is live translation for churches, made by Voclyn Atelier Inc. in Vancouver, Canada. A church streams its service from the sound desk, and everyone in the room reads or hears it on their own phone, in their own language.
Why we build it
On the day of Pentecost a crowd from every nation stood in one place, and “everyone heard them speaking in his own language” (Acts 2:6). Today many churches in Vancouver, Los Angeles and Toronto worship in two or three languages under one roof, and still hold the same service twice, or preach with an interpreter and let the sermon run twice as long.
Voclyn lets them be one congregation again. The pastor preaches once, switching languages if that is how the room talks, and each person follows on their own phone.
How we work
- Wherever it’s AI, it says AI. Bible readings come from published Bibles and say so.
- Numbers with dates. We publish what we measured and how, on our quality page.
- Nothing about listeners. No accounts, cookies or tracking on the listener page, and service audio is never stored.
- Made for church. Worship, readings, prayers and private moments each have their place at the sound desk.
