Per-language-hour pricing would count this as 17 hours a month; here captions count one speech-hour per hour. We assume about an hour live in each service, after worship and breaks you mark at the desk.

By each service’s time live, from the moment the sound desk goes live until it ends the service, worship and breaks included. Services shorter than 10 minutes are rehearsals and don’t count. Free translates 6 hours a month, about one service every week, and a service that starts within them is translated to its end. After that, services still run, with captions in the original language, until the 1st. Paid plans have unlimited translation hours.
No. The AI voiceover is unlimited on every paid plan, in each of your languages that has a voice, and on Church and Campus in any other one a visitor chooses. Voice is made only while someone is listening in that language. Free has captions only.
Every language phones offer, except Hmong, Irish, Malagasy, Māori, Oromo, Samoan, Shona, Tongan, Ukrainian, Urdu, Welsh, Xhosa, Yoruba and Zulu, where people read the captions. Your pastor’s own voice speaks English, Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Portuguese, French, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Indonesian, German, Italian, Thai and Malay; the others are read in a standard AI voice.
An hour of a room being live: from the moment the sound desk goes live until it ends the service. Time before you go live doesn’t count, and neither does worship or a break you mark at the desk. One hour is one hour, no matter how many languages or listeners. Your dashboard shows them each month.
Everything in Church, our $99-a-month plan (C$139 in Canada), for 30 days: unlimited listeners, translation hours and AI voiceover, all 100+ languages, voice cloning and 2 rooms live at once. Every new church starts with it, whichever plan it picked. No card is asked for, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
After 30 days you choose a plan, or your church moves to Free. Your link and QR code keep working, captions continue in one language plus your main language for 6 hours a month, and Free keeps the last service’s transcript (download any others you want first). You can choose a plan any time.
Never. Listeners are unlimited on every plan, and they never need an account.
No, never by the hour. Chapel translates your main language and two more. Church and Campus translate all 100+, and every visitor can choose theirs on their own phone, with your church’s languages first; you can also show only yours. Unlimited AI voiceover comes with every paid plan, in each of your languages that has a voice. Free shows your main language and one more.
Yes, for annual plans: Canadian pre-authorized debit, US ACH, or an invoice. Write to us and we’ll set it up.
Prices are before tax. In Canada we add GST/HST and, in BC, PST where it applies; registered charities may be able to recover part of the GST/HST. Ask your accountant what applies to your church.
Yes, from Billing in your dashboard. If you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your church moves to Free. Your QR code keeps working.
No. Our providers process speech and text to translate it, and under the terms we use they don’t use it to train their models. We don’t keep service audio at all.
